Isis
Egypt. Aset is an Egyptian goddess of birth, rebirth, magic and the goddess of the dead. She first appears in inscriptions of the Old Kingdom. She gained her popularity and reputation, together with her husband Osiris and her twin sister Nephthys, through the so-called Osiris myth and the Isis hymn. She continued to be worshipped by the Greeks and Romans living in Egypt until the Christian era. She had many epithets: Queen of Heaven, Mother Goddess, Great Enchantress. The eye can be seen beautifully on a bronze statue of Isis in the State Museum of Egyptian Art in Munich. This amulet is modelled on the image. She is considered the patron goddess of all magicians and witches.
Cow horns with sun disc
This headdress is also a symbol for Hathor, the divine celestial cow. The horns are a symbol for the crescent moon and thus show that she is the goddess of magic and death.
Ankh
The ankh cross as the protective amulet of the Egyptian pharaohs and priests. Ankh is also known as Anch. It has many other names: Anch cross, Egyptian cross, handle cross, loop of life, Nile key, Coptic cross, crux ansata. It is an ancient Egyptian symbol (possibly of Atlantean origin) that symbolises the continuation of life in the afterlife and as a sign of physical life. It can already be found in the temple cities of Sakara. This was at the time of the step pyramid of Dyoser 4640 years before our time. It can also be found in Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. Abu Simbel today, the gate to the temple dedicated to the sun god Rearchate is opened with an ankh cross key. We often see it depicted in very different ways on tombs. Symbolically opening the gate of wisdom.
The interpretation and meaning of the Ankh cross is complex and extremely interesting. The deeper meaning is called the cross of life, the cross of rebirth.
It is the symbol of becoming and dying. Its deep symbolic content signifies vitality. In its primal depth, it is also the magical cross of plus and minus polarity, symbolising the union of the female and male divine principle. The cross, which represents the 4 elements plus Akasha or Akasa, is the symbolic instrument of eternal life and perpetual power.
Lotus
The lotus symbolises the change from darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge.
