Mythology of dragons:
Dragons have been used in various cultures, in mythological records, with references to giant reptiles that threaten humans. There is the Midgard Serpent, it coils around the earth and dwells in the depths of the sea. The goddess Tiamat is the mother of the dragon lair and the primordial serpent Writra from India holds the sea captive in a mountain. In Egypt, it is Ra who fights the serpent Apophis and Zeus imprisons Typhon under Sicily. The god Apollo also imprisons a dragon in a dungeon under Delphi, which is how he obtained the source of wisdom. When Siegfried kills Fafnir, he becomes invulnerable.
